HYDERABAD
DATE - 03rd August, 2024. TIME - 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM

Tournament Format
    1. Registration fee - Each Player must pay a one-time registration fee of Rs.1000 & Rs 800 will be refunded to unsold players after the League.
    2. Registration process - Registration must be completed exclusively through the provided google form.
    3. Yonex AS2 shuttle will be used for the League.
    4. Non-marking shoes is mandatory and umpire decisions are final.
    5. Eligibility for bidding - only Players who have completed registration are eligible for the bidding process.
    6. Timelines - Players must arrive at the court 30 mins before their scheduled match times. Failure to report on time will result a walkover for the opposing team.
    7. All selected players must make themselves available for Team practices as scheduled by Team Owners.
    8. This League is open to only Karnataka Players.
    9. Attire - All players must wear the official tournament T-shirts during matches.
    10. League format - The League will follow a round-robin format during the league stages with knockout rounds in the semi-finals and finals.
    11. Group Structures - 8 teams will be divided into 2 groups of 4 teams each.
    12. Auction rules - Teams must select 9 players during the auction.
    13. League stage matches - Each team will compete with 3 ties, facing each of the 3 teams in their group.
    14. Match participations - No player may participate in more the 2 matches with a single tie.
    15. Team rankings - Teams will be ranked based on the points earned during the league stage. The top 2 teams from each group will advance to the semi-finals.

  1. If a Player is scheduled to play Consecutive matches there will be a 5 minute interval between matches.
  2. Cash Prizes will be given to Winners and Runners
  3. Replacement Requests: Teams may request a Replacement for a Player who withdraws due to Injury,Illness, or Valid reasons.
  4. Replacement available only till 2 days prior to the league.
  5. Request must be made before the League starts. Replacement will be given from the unsold players who have applied to the league.(Only from the Registered Players list)
  6. Disclaimer: By registering for the Tournament,participants acknowledge that they are responsible for their own fitness and understand the inherent risks of sports activities. Players agree not to hold the Committee liable for any injuries or Mishaps that may occur during the tournament.
  7. Decision made by the Umpire and Chief Referee are final. No further argument will be entertained. Unfair Practices before or during the matches is prohibited.

Terms and Conditions
Players are at the centre of competitions and their on-court conduct is seen by other Players, the spectators in the arena. Acting professionally and being a good role model is expected for all Players in all competitions.

The rules on misconduct are stated in BWF Law Recommendations To Umpires/Hosts & of particular relevance are the following incidents:

1. Players calling LINE other than the appointed ones, warning will be issued if still not adhered then the caller or the entire team will get the yellow card.

2. Conducting themselves in an honorable and sportsmanlike manner during any match or at any time while within the precincts of this Tournament.

3. Complying with the goodwill formalities before, during and after any match including thanking Technical Officials and shaking hands with opposing Players. Players must thank their opponents and umpire before leaving the field of play to celebrate with their team or coach or the crowd.

4. Presenting themselves for competition play in a suitable smart manner with clean and acceptable badminton sports clothing & footwear.

5. Respecting technical officials and not trying to influence the decisions of technical officials in any way using an arm, hand, racket gestures, or orally.

6. Not using words commonly known and understood in any language to be profane or indecent and uttered clearly and loudly enough to be heard by the umpire or spectators.

7. Not making gestures or signs with the hands and/or racket or shuttle that commonly have an obscene or offensive meaning.

8. Not intentionally hitting a shuttle dangerously or recklessly within or out of the court, hitting a shuttle with negligent disregard for the consequences, or deliberately damaging a shuttle.

9. Not deliberately tampering with the shuttle to affect its flight or speed. If it has to be slowed then referee and opponent's consent is must.

10. A player throwing a racket into the opponent's court or sliding under the net thereby causing obstruction and distraction, and possibly suspension in play
